ITV Coordinator

The prime function of the ITV coordinator is to ensure that all authorized information (text, audio, photographic and video) is collated and uploaded into the system correctly and on time. He is also responsible of the coordination, integrity and operation on the interactive television system and broadcast.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the ITV system in trouble-free operation, providing all required entertainment and information as determined by the ITV Manager and outlined in the ITV menu.
• Ensure all daily information for each days program is updated, authorized by the Hotel Manager and uploaded into the ITV system before printing of the ships daily program for the following day.
• Provide an upload the movies selected for the ITV on-demand movies, entering the movie description (translated) in all languages of the system.
• In cooperation with the on board revenue manager produce all revenue-related videos (Shops, Excursions, Bar, Spa, etc.) for continuous transmission on any of the available free-to-air television channels.
• Ensure that promotional videos are uploaded to the TV network and shown continuously without technical difficulty.

Requirements:

• Basic tape-to-tape and non-linear video editing techniques and terminology.
• A strong basic knowledge of computers.
• Ability to perform video content editing;
• Good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Suite iLife and Abode suite
• Good working knowledge of Mac Operating System
• Familiarity with all types of multimedia production techniques, including Photoshop and illustrator.
• Proven ability to operate s-VHS and digital video equipment
• Wide detailed experience and knowledge of windows applications
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
