Position Summary:

The Global Compensation Lead is the primary contact point between Shipboard Compensation and Shipboard Operations, both Hotel and Marine, for all compensation related issues. The Lead will work with the Business to provide them with workable solutions that remain fair, competitive, equitable, compliant and aligned with business goals.

Career Snapshot:

  • Liaise with Operations to understand business needs and advise appropriate actions.
  • Ensure full compliance of all shipboard compensation with CBA requirements, applicable regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Evaluate shipboard positions, conduct competitive wage analysis and make compensation recommendations.
  • Seek out improvements to current workflow process and business practices and develop communication and training materials to maximize understanding and perceived value.
  • Bachelor's degree and experience within a Human Resources Department.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Articulate and able to summarize complex processes.
  • Understanding of compensation policies, procedures and practices.
  • CBA knowledge highly desirable.
  • JD Edwards experience preferred.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required.
  • Ability to write effectively and present information to top management.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
