Azamara Club cruises - Strategic Business Development Manager

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for profitable revenue generation from assigned retail travel agency and incentive accounts with Azamara Club Cruises. The Strategic Business Development Manager will meet or exceed corporate growth goals, including Quarterly and Annual Sailed Revenue, as well as Quarterly Booked Guests, sales presentations to small/large audiences to promote entire brand, specific ships and destinations. The manager will also create and execute local marketing and promotional programs with assigned accounts within territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at current individual accounts within territory.
  • Work with Sales Manager to analyze and develop opportunities within territory.
  • Develop territory account plans and marketing/promotional strategies for assigned account base
  • Responsible for complete knowledge of all Azamara Cruises products, services, and brand representation.
  • Analyze sales data in order to present monthly and quarterly business reviews with select accounts across territory
  • Work with Key Account Manager handling HQ roll-up accounts to analyze and develop opportunities.
  • Gather and communicate reporting on customer business profile (ROI, cost of sale, yield, retention, automation)
  • Develop brand champions ensuring customers are kept up to date with the latest information on itineraries, pricing and product enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven outside sales experience required; Travel industry preferred. Must be able to travel.
