We are currently searching for a well experienced Guest Service Officer for a well-known 4* American Cruise Line with great itineraries throughout the world and international passengers.

The Guest Services Officer will be responsible for ‘Delivering the Wow' for all guests while demonstrating exemplary problem resolution skills to our guests at all times. Actively listens and extends assistance in order to resolve all guest issues and concerns. A strong guest satisfaction disposition is mandatory, a people person, and with a great sense of humor. We are currently seeking Guest Service Officer to join our team. The position provides a personalized guest service experience, where the anticipation of guest needs and expectations are executed in a timely manner. The Guest Service Officer is to be instrumental in creating guest experiences and executing service that is second to none. Consistently engage in conversation, relying a professional disposition and personality. The Guest Service Officer position encompasses strong communication and organizational skills, essential problem-resolution skills, and active listening skills for all concerns relating to guest concerns and Guest Service Officer Services.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Plays a key role in being the first impression for the brand and our guests
  • Greets all guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, taking the time to understand all requests in detail
  • Responsible for being a determined and focused performer in a team of empowered Guest Services professionals who will strive to deliver focused and extraordinary customer service
  • Provides cash and guest account services at the Guest Services desk such as accepting cash payments, cashing personal or Traveler's checks or exchanging foreign currencies.

English speaking is mandatory in addition we are looking for ideally German, Swedish and Italian speakers. All three languages are necessary but would help if candidate has one or more of these - also required: excellent computer skills.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
