Florist

Florists are responsible for managing and operating the flower shop and maintaining the live plants (if there are any), indoor and outdoor, on board the ship. He/she places order requisitions of fresh flowers and supply for upcoming voyages according to his/her assigned ships flower set up and budget; creates fresh flower arrangements and delivers them in a timely manner to guest staterooms and public areas; and cleans and maintains silk flowers (if there are any). Florists may also be assigned to perform all administrative and clerical functions for the Housekeeping department. A high school diploma or basic education equivalency, and between two to three years of experience as a florist are required for this position.
