Opportunity for an experienced portrait photographer to join Australia’s most iconic cruise line – P&O Cruises
Throughout our 80+ year history P&O Cruises has remained Australia’s most loved cruise line. As testament to our success in the Australian/New Zealand market we will soon be expanding our fleet from 3 to 5 ships.
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced portrait photographer to join us onboard. Our Master Photographer is responsible for creating unique photo memories at sea within our onboard studio in line with brand strategy.
Specific responsibilities include:
- achieve budgeted sales targets for each voyage by producing quality product, clearly explaining product to passengers and utilising effective sales techniques to increase guest purchases
- create a positive customer experience, by interacting with all guests, observing and identifying their preferences and adjusting services accordingly; promptly and professionally responding to service issues
- take accountability for correctly protecting issued equipment and company assets as directed in the policies and procedures
Along with significant studio portrait experience and a strong track record in achieving sales targets, our ideal candidate will bring energy, charisma, great relationship building and interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, a high customer focus and the ability to thrive in a team working environment.
Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and onboard accommodation, main meals, flights and transfers are all supplied by the company.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment where you will meet people that will be friends for life, travel to stunning locations ‘like no place on earth’.
