Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Courteous interactions with guests and fellow shipboard employees, while in crew areas at all times, and in presence of guests
• Directing the overall Inventory function aboard the vessel as related Hotel Operations
• Manages staffing par levels to support the business needs of the vessel
• Reviews and approves overtime sheets and reviews requests
• Observes and evaluates employees
• Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to subordinates to strengthen current performance and to prepare for advancement
• Fosters a team environment among the crew
• Establishes a Materials Requirement Planning process that drives the requisitioning of materials for all hotel-related functions including food and beverage, hotel consumables, and disposable items
• Remains up to date on USPH procedures for sanitation and cleanliness
• Conducts regular inspections/audits, cycle counts and inventories
• Publishes related performance metrics
• Arranges supply deliveries
• Creates, managements and controls budget
• Continuously identifies improvement opportunities
