The main principle of the Future Cruise Sales Advisor is to generate revenue from future cruise bookings from passengers already on board and to support the delivery and efficient running of the Destination Services operation.

What you will be doing

  • Offer an informative, sales focused presentation detailing fleet itineraries and on board offers. 
  • Carry out daily desk duties to take future cruise bookings as well as excursion bookings and enquiries about independent activities and facilities at each port. 
  • Promote the Future Cruise Sales Advisor (FCSA) service by announcements in the Cruise News and PA announcements made by Cruise Director to promote the service. 
  • Balance sales with customer service and effective PR. 
  • Take full responsibility of everything that concerns the Future Cruise promotions and sales activity including all administration and weekly reports. 
  • Assist with embarkation and other ad hoc duties as directed. 
  • Attend social events, join half day excursions, tables for lunch/dinner with passengers in order to raise profile of the FCSA and PR with customers.

What we are looking for

  • Previous travel retail experience essential. 
  • Should be fully conversant with the TOP/WISH booking system and be able to use effectively. 
  • The FCSA must have an excellent knowledge of the fleet and all itineraries as well as keeping fully updated with all current offers. 
  • Be able to demonstrate good customer service working with a diverse range of customer profiles. 
  • Experience of promoting services and products to customers. 
  • Ability to present to a variety of audiences. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner. 
  • Resilient and flexible approach with the ability to respond to customer and company needs. 
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment. 
  • Attention to detail is essential with strong administrative and organisational skills. 
  • Self motivated, ability to work without supervision. 
  • Valid medical certificate ENG1 and Safety certification – STCW & Crowd Management (will be arranged upon successful application)

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements
