We are looking for motivated, dynamic, energetic, experienced Guest Relations Officers/Front Desk Receptionists to work onboard leading Cruise Liners like Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, Seabourn etc.

The Human Resources Manager leads and manages the ship's overall Human Resouces Division. In addition, the HR Manager serves as the Compliance and Ethics contact and, in that role, shall report directly to the Captain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, over 5-10 years of experience, senior level management experience, a strong training & development knowledge, someone with succession planning experience, change management and employee relations preferably in a multi-cultural, diverse environment
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage in a fast paced environment
  • Must have extensive knowledge in all aspects of HR administration: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, learning, compensation, benefits and HR systems.
  • Leads and manages the ship’s overall HR Division, serves as the Compliance and Ethics contact; maintain a close reporting relationship with the Master for all crew related affairs
  • Attributes: independent, leadership skills, a motivator, professional
  • Previous roles: HR Director, HR Manager, Sr. HR Business Partners for large corporations
  • Cruise Experience a huge plus, but not necessary.
  • Multi languages a plus


JOB SKILLS

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all KPIs that are directly influenced by this role.
  • Educates /supports the management to HR policies, procedures and company’ standards
  • Oversees activities relating to sign on and sign off procedures, crew immigration/customs,etc
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Uses advanced HR Information Systems to access and analyze data for reporting purposes based on business unit needs and uses relevant data to recommend solutions
  • Ensures Safety, Environmental and other company policies and standards.
  • Manages the HR and Crew Welfare budgets
  • Supports the development / execution of relevant training programs
  • Strives to build employee morale and develops strategies in partnership with onboard leadership to enhance overall employee satisfaction.
