Reports to: Maitre Dâ Hotel

Objective:

Organisation and supervision of all aspects of beverage service in the outlets onboard. Promoting and sell additional products.

Job Skills:

Excellent communication and promotional skills. Outgoing personality. Punctual. Ability to lead, train and motivate a small team.

Responsibilities:

Provide guests with courteous and professional wine service; Responsible for the onboard wine selection; Organizes wine tastings for guests; Monitors and controls beverage costs; Inventory control;

Education/Experience:

Standard European beverage background; At least 3 years Sommelier experience in 5 start establishment; Excellent wine and bar knowledge. Ships experience preferred. Minimum WSET Qualification.

Computer Skills:

Word, Excel, Micros, Fidelio. MXP highly advantageous

Language Requirement:

Fluent English, basic French pronunciation. Additional European languages preferred.
