Skills& Education:

We are looking for a well experienced and qualified Sous Chef (m/f) for a 5*+ American River Cruise Line with international passengers and wonderful itineraries.

Candidate (f/m) should have work experience in 5* hotels and/or restaurants as well as ship’s experience in a similar position. This position requires highly developed professional and leadership skills. You should be flexible, very hands on and stress resistant. The ability to lead and motivate a team is expected. Good USPH knowledge and fluent English skills are required.

General Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • To oversee the daily Galley operation, safe food handling of Galley personnel and maintenance of all Galley equipment.
  • To supervise and engage in the preparation and presentation during service hours.
  • To ensure a smooth and efficient service during meal hours.
  • To ensure that products are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
