As Hotel Director for one of Silversea's Small Luxury Expedition Vessels, you will be responsible for the hotel division onboard.

You will report to the Director of Hotel Operations and oversee all aspects of guest relations, human resources, provisioning and service to maintain the highest standards at sea.

Your overall objective is to ensure the ultimate Silversea cruise experience for guests, continuously improve ratings and ensure the crew are motivated to exceed all expectations.

To be considered for this highly demanding role, you will need to be a strong organised and professional leader, practising by example, have the ability to work with an international crew and have excellent social skills.

You will implement strategies to achieve service goals; ensure that all guest requests, inquiries and complaints are responded to promptly; oversee the activities of the entire hotel department; ensure necessary maintenance and repairs are dealt with effectively; maintain guidelines, policies, procedures and training practices set by the corporate office, and of course manage the daily costs of the business.

You will require a degree in Hospitality Management or similar as well as strong F&B Shipboard and USPH experience, and good exposure to leading a team.

You will also have either a strong land based managerial background in a luxury environment or previous expedition experience in a senior role.

You will also require good administration and computer skills, fluent English and preferably a fluency in German, French, Italian or Spanish.
