Chief Electrician (m/f)

Your chartered course:

• As chief electrician, you will be responsible for safe ship operations with regard to all electrical engineering and communications processes on the ship
• You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of all electrical and electronic control and automation systems on board
• This includes ship systems such as propulsion, generators, and diesel engines
• As on officer, you will also be responsible for instructing and offering guidance to up to 11 crew members

Your previous ports of call:

• You have completed a professional or graduate degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, or have obtained a comparable qualification
• You have extensive experience in ship operations and demonstrable management experience
• Your English is excellent, and you have good IT skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team completes your profile
