AIDA Cruises has the youngest fleet of newly-built ships in the world and distinguishes itself through innovative, cutting-edge technology in the areas of navigation and communications systems, the engine technologies as well as in the hotel operations. The newbuildings encompass around 71,100 RT and generate 24,800 KW in the four main diesel engines. The AIDA fleet is operated according to the highest international quality, environmental and safety standards. The maximum capacity is presently 2500 passengers and 600 crew members.

At the earliest opportunity we are looking for you as:

Chief Engineer

Your chartered course:

• You are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ship’s equipment as well
  as maintaining and repairing all technical devices and equipment on board
• In addition, you are also responsible for the ship’s communications technology, IT, and
  hotel and theater technology, overseeing up to 40 employees
• Furthermore, you monitor compliance with company-wide regulations and quality
  control systems
• You also directly assist the captain in technical and business-related issues

Your previous ports of call:

• You have studied ship operation technology and have several years of work experience
  as a Chief Engineer, ideally in passenger shipping
• You have all of the necessary certificates according to STCW
• Your English and German language skills are good
