This is an individual contributor position responsible for the recruitment and selection of employees for Royal Caribbean Cruises, LTD. and all of its subsidiaries, for Land Based as well as At Sea personnel. Travels as necessary and can be up to 60% of the time. The Junior Recruiter will work closely with RCL"s Global Hiring Partner Network in order to achieve their overall qualitative and quantitative goals.
Career snapshot:
- Previews, evaluates and selects appropriate talent directly and through various Hiring Partners/Agencies to meet the requirements of the departments and vessels" itineraries and guest demographics.
- Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with a network of Hiring Partners and related sources that efficiently source, screen and process new shipboard employees in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Travels to various locations or seeks out locally new sources of talent. Interviews applicants to determine the individual"s adaptability to the shipboard environment. Selects appropriate applicants to meet specific functional hiring and scheduling requirements of the specific department and Shipboard Hotel Human Resources.
- Maintains a pool of approved applicants to proactively meet the needs of the specific departments.
- Prepares Personnel Requisition Forms and submits to Hiring Partners in preparation for visit to interview candidates needed to staff the ships.
- Prepares documentation and questionnaires in preparation for interviews of pre-screened candidates 30 days prior to trip.
- Conduct Interviews, by Phone, Web Cam and personal visits to Hiring Partners.
- Visits and meets with Global Hiring Partners to interview and hire qualified candidates that have been pre-screened.
- Interviews Candidates according to established guidelines and interview techniques.
- Makes job offers to approved candidates in accordance with company policy

- Responsible for planning all travel and expense related activities in a sound fiscal manner according to company guidelines.
