Corp. Crew Purser

Skills & Education:
We are looking for a well-experienced Corp. Crew Purser or Payroll Manager (m/f) for

a 5* European Cruise Line with international passengers on wonderful itineraries.

The Corp. Crew Purser is located in the companies head office in Switzerland and will be responsible for all Crew related matters – responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Manage computation, documentation and processing of Monthly & Sign off payroll wages and deductions for all ship board employees
• Calculate of overtime, commission and gratuities paid out as per VOC procedures
• Control T&A systems and working hour's regulations on board
• Preparation & submission of Month end financial cruise reports relating to payroll.
• Payroll reconciliation of all vessels at month end, including:
• transmission of payroll to allocate banks via Accounting bank wiring system
• review wire returns and resolve them with Accounting department
• Balancing payroll system record with accounting records, after payment have been executed

You must have previous experience as Crew Purser or in a similar position on a seagoing vessel.

The position will also involve a small amount of travelling to/on the vessels.

You should have excellent communication skills, combined with exceptional written and oral communication skill in an international environment and with various numbers of nationalities as Crew Members and your colleagues in the Head Office. You should be well organized, have a positive, open minded personality and be stress-resistant at all times. In addition you must also have great experience in dealing with Port Authorities and Customs including all required paperwork for the crew, if needed.

Fluent English is required, any additional language would be a big plus - also required are excellent computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access etc.).
