Cruise Staff (Male), P&O Cruises Australia

We are searching for experienced male (due to berthing requirements) hosts to commence on board in the coming months leading up to Christmas. Key responsibilities of this position include hosting or co-hosting entertainment and other revenue/non-revenue events including trivia events, sports and deck games, manning the ship’s library, Crafts@Sea programs and other events.

Along with recent experience in a host or entertainment role (in a hospitality, entertainment or cruise line environment), our ideal candidates will bring the ability to confidently and charismatically engage with guests (both individually and as a sizeable crowd), strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, great communication skills, a customer focus and the ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, transfers and a uniform are all supplied by the company.

Please note employees of P&O Cruises Australia are required to be at least 21 years old, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and international applicants must be eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). All crew members are required to successfully clear a medical examination from an approved doctor.
