Photographer (Female), P&O Cruises Australia – November Start

I now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced female (due to berthing requirements) event photographer to join us onboard in November 2016.

Our Photographers are responsible for creating unique photo memories at sea in line with brand strategy. Specific responsibilities include:

• achieve budgeted sales targets for each voyage by producing quality photos, ensuring merchandise is restocked daily and neatly presented on the selling floor, clearly explaining product to guests and utilising effective sales techniques to increase guest purchases
• create a positive customer experience, by interacting with all guests, observing and identifying their preferences and adjusting services accordingly; promptly and professionally responding to service issues
• take accountability for correctly protecting issued equipment and company assets as directed in the policies and procedures

Along with event photography experience, print/photo lab experience and a strong track record in achieving sales targets, our ideal candidates will bring energy, charisma, great relationship building and interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, a high customer focus and the ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, medical cover and uniforms are provided.

Please note employees of P&O Cruises Australia are required to be at least 21 years old, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and international applicants eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). All crew members are required to successfully clear an ENG1 Medical before commencing onboard.
