We now have a requirement for an experienced Fleet Trainer to join us onboard in November/ December.
Reporting to the Fleet People and Performance Manager shore side and working closely with the People and Performance Managers on board, the Fleet Trainer will be responsible for effectively implementing and delivering ship board training programs across the fleet.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Conduct training as per facilitators guide and provide feedback to assist in enhancing course designs
• Administers, collects and analyses data, making suggestions for improvement
• Maintains and manages training facilities and equipment
• Manages communication across the fleet of training and follow up
• Demonstrating commitment to the company’s values, beliefs, goals and initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience in a similar role, preferably from a Ship or Hotel background
• Be certified in Training and Assessment or hold a comparable qualification
• Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships in a diverse environment
• Be adaptable yet passionate about people and performance

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, transfers and medical cover are all provided.
Please note employees of P&O Cruises Australia are required to be at least 21 years old, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and international applicants eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). All crew members are required to successfully clear an ENG1 Medical before commencing onboard.
Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
