Princess Cruises is Now Hiring Stage Crew!

This position is responsible for assisting the Production team with the maintenance of all equipment, scenery, and props, as well as show and event preparation pertaining to A/V equipment, scenic goods, lighting, and rigging.

Princess Cruises sets the standard for cruise line entertainment and offers exciting shipboard positions for knowledgeable and professional Technical Production staff. Our first-class theaters and entertainment venues are equipped with state-of-the-art, multi-million-dollar technical systems complete with elaborate sets, spectacular costumes, and fascinating pyrotechnic effects. We work with a talented and award-winning team of Directors, Scenic Designers, Lighting Designers, Choreographers, and Media Designers.

Stage Crew responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Assists the Production Managers with maintaining all equipment, scenery, and props within the assigned venue and around the vessel.
2. Show and event preparation as it pertains to A/V equipment, scenic goods, props, lighting, and rigging.
3. Possesses knowledge of audio, lighting, and video equipment used in specified venue(s).
4. Always maintains clear and accurate track sheet notes for production shows and maneuvers scenery and designated effects accordingly.
5. Prepares clear, accurate handover notes and facilitates a comprehensive handover.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of theatrical training or related technical theatre experience.
• Strong understanding of technical theater terms
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
• Ability to interact and co-operate with other technicians and performers on an individual and team basis
• Must be able to travel for 6 months at a time
• Minimum age of 21
