Spanish speaking Disc Jockey for urgent opening!

We are seeking on behalf of some of the world’s biggest cruise lines: Royal Caribbean International a Spanish speaking Disc Jockey. This is a great position for anyone with a passion for travel and working in the Entertainment Industry whilst travelling to some of world’s most exciting destinations and gaining valuable life and work experience.

Primary duties include:

• Serves as Master of Ceremonies in various lounges of nightclubs throughout the ship.
• Operates music, lighting and video equipment to produce a mixture of dance music and video clips for a variety of categories such as classic top 40, dance oriented rock, Latin, classic disco, reggae and classic rock
• Maintains up-to-date musical inventory. Prepares and submits monthly music order form to replenish stock or update current inventory.

• Maintains and supervises music playing equipment
• Motivates the audience and adjusts the music to the various demographics onboard (many different age groups and nationalities/cultures)
• Participates in shows and events presented by the Cruise Director’s Division by taking part in skits and/or simple dance routines. Instructs, organizes or facilitates various activities and/or tournaments.
• Participates as Master of Ceremonies or host for special group functions and various Theme Night arrangements.
• Operates spotlight equipment for production shows if needed.
• Execute additional job responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 years professional DJ experience with the ability to motivate an audience
• Master of Ceremonies (hosting with microphone) or professional entertainment experience preferred
• Must have extensive knowledge of variety of music
• Must have the ability to operate a variety of music audio equipment
• Besides very good English, must also speak Spanish
