Cruise Manager (m/f) - Organization Land Excursions

You love big ships and the logistical challenge of moving many people at once? Your summer days are only complete after a 16 hour session on the pier, but you are also passionate about perfect Excel lists? Then we can offer you an exciting and demanding position in Berlin, always close to the coast.

Conference & Touring is the leading DMC in Germany. Our cruise department, which handles the land excursions and the passenger changeover for many international cruise lines in the North and Baltic Sea, is looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Berlin office, starting from December 2016.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the Tourism/Event field or appropriate education or further training
• Min. three-year work experience in the organizational department, preferably in the cruise industry
• Good knowledge of as many seaports possible, like Rostock, Warnemünde, Hamburg, Kiel and local knowledge of Berlin
• Business fluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of the German language.
• Quick comprehension, independent, detail and goal-orientated work, resilience, passion and motivation.
• No problem with working weekends during the season (May – September)
• Positive appearance towards supplier and clients
• Drivers license and driving experience

Your job:

• Creative composition of offers, product development and cost calculation
• Communication with clients and suppliers in English and German
• Independent preparation, execution and handling of land excursions and pre/post travel
• Development and control of the operative procedures
• Networking with European and American cruise lines
• Crisis Management
