Sanitation Officer (f/m)

COLUMBIA Shipmanagement Ltd is looking to recruit a Sanitation Officer (f/m) for a reputable passenger ship owner.  If you are interested in COLUMBIA and believe you can contribute to our success and our client`s success, you should at least fulfil the following job requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications and USPH or HACCP certification;
• Good knowledge of English language;
• Computer Skills;
• STCW Certification;
• 3 years of previous experience in similar position preferably on cruise ships;
• Good managerial, interpersonal and communications skills;

Primary duties and responsibilities:

The Sanitation Officer is responsible for the overall hygiene and cleanliness within the Hotel department.  He/She is controlling the hygiene operations of the F&B and Housekeeping departments and ensures that the staff practice safe food handling and are complying with all international sanitation and hygiene regulations.  In conjunction with the respective department heads, monitors the food storage, handling and processing, cleanliness, pest control operations, performs hygiene training and ensures that the F&B facilities and equipment comply with international hygiene standards.
