Bar Manager (f/m)

COLUMBIA Shipmanagement Ltd is looking to recruit a Bar Manager (f/m) for a reputable passenger ship owner.  If you are interested in COLUMBIA and believe you can contribute to our success and our client`s success, you should at least fulfil the following job requirements:

• General Academic qualification in hospitality management and relevant subsequent training;
• Minimum 3 year experience in a similar position onboard;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Strong managerial skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of the English language - additional languages are considered an advantage;
• Computer Skills;
• STCW Certification;

Primary duties and responsibilities:

The Bar Manager is responsible for the Bar and Lounge operations onboard, aiming to provide high quality services in the most cost efficient manner and in accordance with the Company`s relevant policies and procedures.  He/She Ensures that bar staff receives regular coaching and support to improve and maintain the sales and beverage profitability and reduce/eliminate the passenger complaints.
