Job Description:

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Sous Chef for opportunities on board river cruise ships operating in France and central Europe for the 2012 season.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

  • Formal European culinary education
  • At least 5 years experience as Sous Chef in 4/5* hotel, restaurant operation - previous cruise ship experience preferred
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate preparation of recipes for all basic meat, fish, sauce & side dishes, cooking methods (braise, sauté, etc)...  
  • Checkable previous employment references

 

Seasonal contracts +/-10 months

Salaries in Euros

Benefits include paid vacation, health, accident, etc insurance.
