KITCHEN STEWARD (ESS)

Kitchen Steward (Utility) on board 4* and 5* river cruise ships that sail along European Rivers.The Kitchen Steward (ess) is responsible for supervising the kitchen employees to ensure safe, clean, efficient and quality food service. He/she handles and transports food and other supplies when requested. The Kitchen Steward (ess) reports directly to the Executive Chef.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least one - two years of hotel or prior ship experience in a comparable position
• English speaking skills
• Ensures that the dish washer area is cleaned after every service
• Ensures that duties are carried out as requested from the Executive chef
• Maintain hygiene standards
