We are currently accepting applications for the position of Merchandise Host/Hostess on behalf of a well-known family cruise line.

You will proactively sell merchandise in fixed and mobile retail locations, clean merchandise locations and maintain fully stocked shelves in merchandise locations.Your role will be to ensure a clean, efficient, neatly organized stock room, performing accurate inventory counts, maintaining the Crew store and receive, log and unload all merchandise that boards the vessel each cruise. You will support daily promotions and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in retail or sales
• Ability to demonstrate a passion and strong ongoing focus towards exceeding Guest satisfaction and sales goals
• Knowledge in duty free and VAT preferred
• Experience and knowledge in fine jewellery, watches, perfume, cosmetics or liquor
• Experience in a cashless sales system
• Knowledge of latest trends, styles and retail as a whole
• Strong understanding of sales in a busy environment
• Keen eye for attention to detail and merchandise display
• Computer literate
• Fluent English mandatory - multi-lingual preferred

We are currently recruitng for positions available from October 2012. Interview sessions being held in July / August.
