We are currently looking for a Chef de Cuisine for a small cruise ship.

This is a 4star plus vessels (76 guests approx.) offering group charters or regular 7 day cruises for individuals & small groups.

The Vessel is on full board basis - American breakfast buffet + 2 meals a day - and the kitchen brigade consists of 2 assistants plus an hotel staff to assist with plate circulation during meals.

Requirements:

  • At least four years experience within similar food operation including small cruise ships/mega yacht
  • Excellent USPH knowledge
  • Certified working Chef or equivalent degree in Culinary Arts
  • Ability to calculate and control cost potentials/projections and understands the impact on budget
  • Ability to propose, write and implement menus of high quality based on theme and seasonal availability
  • Ability to write and cost recipes and train the team to execute them at the highest standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary & Benefits: Euro pay plus tips, single cabin accommodation.
