Head Sommelier - Luxury Cruise Ship

Job Description:

As Head Sommelier you role will involve the organization and supervision of all aspects of beverage service in the on board restaurants. You will be responsible for providing guests with courteous and professional wine service; the onboard Wine Selection; organising wine tastings for guests, monitoring and controlling beverage costs, inventory control.

You will have:

• European beverage background
• At least 3 years Sommelier experience in 5 start establishment
• Excellent wine and bar knowledge
• Previous ship experience
• Excellent communication and promotional skills
• Outgoing personality
• Fluent English, basic French pronunciation
• Computer skills: Word & Excel
