Waiter/Waitress - Cruise

• Salary: Basic salary of $2800 per month (onboard only)

Our client is an ultra-luxury, 6* star line, looking for waiting staff to work onboard.

Position: Waiter/Waitress

Rotation: 5 months on/2 months off

Start date: August 2012

The Candidate

• 3 years experience in a luxury hotel or 2 years experience in the luxury cruise industry as a waiter/waitress
• Fluent in English
• Must pay attention to detail and keep calm in pressurising situations
• Outgoing and friendly
• Must know the basics - e.g. Mise en Place

The Job

• Waiter/Waitress, reporting to Senior Waiter/Waitress
• Always provide a 6* luxury experience for the guest
• Will serve 16-18 guests per seating when the ship is at full capacity, 2 seatings each evening
• Take on adhoc tasks and responsibilities such as assisting Room Service, gangway duties, ushering at events
• Must be cost conscious and keep breakages of crockery and glassware to a minimum
• Other responsibilities, as assigned, but not limited to the above
