General Technician Broadcast

JOB OVERVIEW

The General Technician Broadcast role is a part of the “Entertainment Technical” team within the Entertainment department.  A Gen Tech Broadcast is responsible for maintaining show integrity, standards of conduct and quality levels of all broadcast and projection operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Primary skill expectations for this role include assisting the Senior Broadcast Technician to program and maintain the automated scheduling and video server playback systems, assisting with updating the ship’s digital signage system, operating vision switching equipment and remote cameras for events and shows, and MPEG encoding of all material for archive and transmission.
