Bilingual English-Italian Port & Shopping Presenters

For cruise ships, we are looking for presenters who can deliver in front of large audiences entertaining, persuasive and informative shopping recommendations in at least two languages: English and Italian. Other languages are a plus. Candidates have to be energetic, outgoing, confident, approachable, flexible, creative, well-spoken, independent, sales-oriented, organized, professional, reliable, personable and credible.

Port & Shopping Presenters must;

• Be able to speak persuasively, in an entertaining and organized way on a stage and with microphone in front of audiences from 50 up to 1000 people;
• Actively promote luxury items including diamonds, gemstones, fine jewelry, Swiss watches, sculptures and artwork, electronics, designer fragrances, liquors and traditional souvenirs;
• Appear polished and professional at all times;
• Use every opportunity to network on the ship and in ports of call;
• Assist cruise ship guests with purchases and questions;
• Distribute shopping maps and VIP cards;
• Recommend specific items/stores by distributing VIP cards;
• Attend Captain’s receptions, VIP parties, deck parties;
• Work every day (40+ hrs per week, day and evening hours);
• Build and maintain relationships with shoreside partners;
• Create new promotional ideas to generate traffic and revenue;
• Achieve set targets for each promoted store;
• Increase the exposure of the shopping program.
