90m Motor Yacht is looking for a 2nd officer holding a Commercial II/1 Qualification Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch over 500GT OR a II/2 Chief Mate ticket.

It is expected that any candidate would be a competent navigator and have experience of maintaining charts and publications. The 2nd officer should have good practical understanding of ISM procedures and is totally conversant with Code of Safe Working Practices, risk assessments, etc....

Experience of Safety Officer duties is required. The candidate will be required to take over the Safety Officer duties in September and October 2012 while the senior Second Officer is on leave.

Experience with tenders, jet skis and PADI diving would be an advantage. Relevant practical abilities such as painting, varnishing, woodwork or tender mechanics etc would be an interesting attribute.

The yacht is currently in the Mediterranean but is likely to be in US waters later this year or early 2013. B1/B2 would therefore be preferred.
