Merchandise Manager

Job Description:

As Merchandise Manager you will oversee the Merchandise operation consisting of approximately 16 Officers/Crew, including training and orientation of new hires.

Your principal responsibilities will be to lead the Merchandise team as well as training and orienting new hires, assume responsibility for the shop\'s smooth and effective operation; determine extended hours to meet Guest needs, proper staffing levels; supervise team and perform sales duties when shops are busy, inspect shops on a regular basis to ensure that merchandise is properly labelled, well-displayed, point-of-sale promotions are in place, and the shops are clean and orderly, ensure accuracy of inventory management

Required experience/qualifications:

• 5 years + retail management experience 
• Previous ship and/or Duty Free experience 
• Accounting skills and background 
• Ability to demonstrate a passion and strong, ongoing focus towards exceeding 
• Ability to work with a multi-cultural team in a confined environment 
• Fluent English 

Rotation: 4 months on / 2 months off
