Directly responding to the Director of Services, responsibilities include the supervision of the buffet/self service area on board the ship and related hotel services. Leading a team of managers, he/she ensures the correct interpretation and implementation of strategic objectives in a healthy environment.
He/she ensures good working relations amongst a multi ethnical team and is able to turn challenges into innovative opportunities.

He/she will have:

  • 3/4 years work experience in a similar position or as a F&B Manager in hotel or on board. A vast service oriented experience in an International company together with documented HACCP/safe food handling training received.
  • University degree and/or graduate of Hotel/Tourism School
  • Good computer skills, fluency in English (Italian and/or other foreign languages is a plus)
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and personal attributes of analytical thinking and problem solving. Strong motivation and team player skills are also necessary.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
