To be accountable for both operational duties and qualitative controls concerning the total Food Production on board a ship; he/she is responsible for the correct implementation of company procedures while ensuring that our international clientele is experiencing culinary delights in all of our Food outlets. Leading a multi ethnical team, he/she is in charge of training and actively taking part in the technical development of the Kitchen brigade.

He/she will have:

  • 2/3 years work experience as an Executive Chef in an International Company preferably with some ship’s experience. World Cuisine knowledge combined with advanced USPH certificates
  • Hotel/Tourism school or University
  • Some computer skills and fluent English (other European languages are a plus)
  • Good organisation skills, interpersonal skills and personal attributes of problem solving

Strong motivation and team player skills are also necessary.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
