Directly responding to the 1st Maitre, responsibilities include the organization of specific dining outlets onboard of one of our Cruise Ships.

He/she directly ensures that the excellence concept is applied throughout the dining experience of our international clientele.

He/she is responsible for the seamless insertion of new recruits into the multi-ethnical team.

He/she will:

  • have 2/3 years experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry
  • have a vast food knowledge, coupled with a certificate in USPH (or similar)
  • be a graduate of Hotel/Tourism/Restaurant Management School, or have completed a hotel apprenticeship
  • have good computer skills
  • be fluent in English (other European languages are a plus)
  • have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • be a problem solver and team player

Strong motivations are necessary as well as an innovative mind-set.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
