The newbuildings measure around 71,100 GRT and generate 24,800 KW in the four main diesel engines. The AIDA fleet is operated according to the highest international quality, environmental and safety standards. The maximum capacity is presently 2500 passengers and 600 crew members.

At the earliest opportunity we are looking for you as a:

The Chief Electrician is responsible for:

• All electrical systems and equipment
• All electrical/ electronical systems of control
• The maintenance of the GMDSS- system
• Other systems of communication
• All light systems
• Maintenance of all electrical and electronical equipment
• All electrographic parts of the mean voltage and low voltage systems
• The operating ability , functional capability, maintenance and repair of all planned systems and equipment

Your previous ports of call:

• Polytechnical degree of electrical engineering
• Medical Fitness for Service at Sea
• Basic Safety Training STCW95 VI/1
• Crowd & Crisis STCW95 V/3.4 to 3.6
• Medium Voltage Operation Authorisation
• Police Background Check
• Seafarer's book
• Good English and German language skills
• EU-nationality
