Position Summary:

Performs financial analysis, departmental profit and loss reporting, identifying and implementing departmental process efficiencies, managing vendor invoicing as well as revenue management techniques.

Career Snapshot:

  • Compiles and reviews weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports including consolidated operational results (actual vs. plan) by brand, key operational and performance statistics, and vessel results.
  • Contributes to creating financial revenue and expense budgets and monthly forecasts. Also provides other relevant data and analysis for budgeting process.
  • Performs and reports on variance analysis on monthly results as required by internal departments.
  • Calculates monthly accruals for shore excursions and aquatics which range from $100k to $5M.
  • Reviews and ensures the accuracy of cost data in ASR for all destinations (approx. 6,000 tours). This function requires special security due to nature of data.
  • Reviews and approves vendor payments using the companyu00bfs sales and accounting system.
  • Identifies and implements departmental process improvements.
  • Ensures internal accounting controls are followed
  • Performs a variety of special projects and financial analysis as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing financial reporting.
  • Three to five years of experience in an accounting, finance or other related field responsible for analyzing current operations and reporting on financial performance.

Preference:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
