Position Summary:
As the Treasury Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a holistic view of RCL's strategic direction, processes, people and technology in order to design, recommend, implement and execute strategies and initiatives that improve the ability of the Treasury Department to support RCL's overall strategic goals. You will be responsible for maximizing overall departmental efficiency and continuous improvement. You will be a key driver of all Consumer Payment Acceptance initiatives (credit card processing), Pension Plan (Ship Board and Shore Side), and 401K plan initiatives from a Treasury perspective. Additionally, you will oversee and manage the G&A budget as well as the CAR forecasting and quarterly certification for the department. Finally, you will drive the implementation of large scale projects.
Career Snapshot:
- Acts as an in-house expert as it relates to systems selection, management, integration and optimization
- Designs and executes Data Analytics and Business Intelligence initiatives in order to assist the department to better process and leverage quantitative and non-quantitative data
- Manages the relationship with 3rd Party providers as well as the IT Department in order to ensure system reliability and availability
- Collaboratively works with all relevant RCL departments to ensure that data interfaces are established, maintained and provide useful information
- Utilizes his/hers understanding of Treasury Systems (including but not limited to Sungard Integrity, as well as the Reval and Chatham suite) and data requirements of the treasury department to leverage the data collection and reporting capabilities of these systems as well as their integration with other corporate systems such as JD Edwards and Essbase
- Negotiates credit card agreements that facilitate corporate revenues
- Interacts with the credit card processors and internal constituents as a liaison on an as needed basis
- Manages the company's pension plans from a treasury perspective
- Manages the company's 401k from a treasury perspective
- Responsible for the revenue optimization of RCL's Credit Card Dynamic Currency Conversion Program
- Manages the treasury G&A budget
- Responsible for updating the corporate forecasting application
- Possess a strong understanding of internal controls (SOX) and leverages this knowledge to improve and streamline treasury controls and/or implement new initiatives without disrupting existing controls
- Leads, directs, manages, coaches, mentors and develops direct reports in all areas in the scope of his/her responsibilities
Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of progressive professional experience (minimum of 5 years in Treasury/Finance/Accounting and 3 years of experience in Information Systems and/or functional project management)
- Accounting, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems undergraduate degree
- Experience in strategy, business analysis and/or development of quantitative models in a Finance setting
- Prior experience developing and presenting recommendations to senior executives (VP and C-Suite level)
- Proven Track Record selecting and implementing ERP and/or Treasury Systems as well as developing and deploying system enhancements
- Must have prior experience aligning activities and leading initiatives across business functions and organizational structures
Preferences:
- MBA in Finance or Strategy
- CTP or CPA
- Other certifications related to Finance, IT, Controls and Project Management are helpful (e.g CFA, CA, FRM, CISA, PMP)
