Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the development of engaging digital tools for customers early in the vacation purchase process. The Product Manager will focus on differentiating the Celebrity brand through interactive storytelling, video, social media, immersive design, and emerging technologies. This individual will be responsible for identifying customer needs and market trends, writing business cases, creating user stories for new product features, conducting competitive analysis, and tracking industry trends and innovations. This position reports to the AVP, Web Innovations and will work closely with marketing, IT, sales, revenue management and our partner brand, Royal Caribbean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Optimize Destinations content and functionality to efficiently move the Visitor from Consideration to Booking, managing agency relationships and partnering with our internal Design lead.
• Launch community platform and develop supporting roadmap to expand UGC and leverage social media platforms to increase traffic and conversion.
• Partner with Loyalty Club team to seamless connect the community, profile, My Celebrity and Captainu00bfs Club site sections to better serve our most highly valued customers.
• Evaluate and manage strategic digital partnerships to bring industry-leading tools and features to Celebrity in a cost-effective manner, seeking start-up relationships where applicable.
• Develop clear success metrics for all projects, as part of building a business case to support the new features and functionality, engaging A/B testing functionality where applicable to increase results.
• Work with the sales team to provide them with the selling tools they need to be successful, including training, ROI calculators, lead generation tools, and visual aids.
• Actively engage the IT team and project manager throughout the product lifecycle to ensure on-time, defect-free delivery.
• Develop Minimum Viable Product definitions to meet the u00bfrelease early, release oftenu00bf philosophy while advocating an agile methodology across the organization.
• Serve as the internal and external evangelist for our product offerings, frequently working with the sales channel and key customers.
• Assist in the successful planning and implementation of marketing initiatives across all platforms, including web, mobile, and tablet.

Requirements:

• Bachelors required.
• 8-10 years working experience in product management involving creative abilities
• At least 3 year's product management experience with consumer-facing websites, strong design sensibility, and familiarity with start-up landscape.

Preferred:

• Masters Degree
• MBA preferred.
• Experience with mobile/tablet products, social media, and analytics packages. Travel industry background is a plus.
