We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Exec. Housekeeper (Chief Stewardess - m/f) for a 5*****+ European Cruise Line (Yacht style) with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world. You should have several years of experience in this field - ship experience is a must.

General function: To manage an efficient operation of the housekeeping functions onboard. This to include the proper cleanliness and maintenance of passenger staterooms, public areas and crew accommodation areas, 24 hours room service and the laundry operation onboard.

Specific responsibilities:

• Training, supervision and inspection of stewardesses to ensure the Company’s high standards of cleanliness and passenger service are maintained.
• Maintain the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) up-to-date and properly posted in the pantries or working areas on each deck. This shall be checked/updated after each chemical delivery as the MSDS may change from one world region to another.
• Ensure that all service pantries are maintained in accordance to Company policy and USPH regulations. This to include that all ice machines in the pantries are sanitized and that a log is maintained of each cleaning.
• Supervise the Stewardesses and day cleaner to ensure that cabins and passageways are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Prepare and follow clear guidelines for the staff to follow.
• Ensure an ongoing training program to keep all housekeeping staff up-to-date with every aspect of our operation, including upcoming voyages, guests, comment cards from the previous voyage, personal hygiene, new chemicals, service practices, teamwork, and all training upon which you agree to with the Hotel Manager. Remember, your staff can never get enough training.
• Fluent English is required any other languages would be a plus.
