Cruise Host/Hostess

Variety Cruises Greece seeking enthusiastic and experienced Tourism/Hospitality professionals as Cruise Coordinators-Hosts for the summer season.

50-60 guest ships with an international crew of 18-25 members operating weekly cruises in Mediterranean ports.

Candidates with a passion for sea and small ship environment with an outgoing personality able to provide outstanding service to guests of several nationalities, and to handle multiple projects efficiently.

Age limit 24.

Excellent command of English, good command of German and any additional languages are a plus (French/Spanish/Italian) with a degree in Tourism/Hospitality or similar, previous experience of 2-3 years on cruise ship or similar guest handling positions with good organizational skills, computer literacy, ease to speak in public, good fitness.

Main duties include welcoming and accommodating the guests, working closely with the Captain and the Chief Steward to organizing every day’s activities on board and ashore, giving destination lectures and informative briefings/powerpoint presentations to the guests, promoting and escorting excursions, hosting ship events, problem solving, promoting company’s brand name and products, and reporting to office manager weekly.
