We are currently seeking Assistant Executive Housekeepers to join our team. Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Managing at least 40 employees and 300 guest staterooms; mentors, develops, provides training and evaluates team to ensure continuous improvement, planning for succession and smooth operation of housekeeping division and exceptional customer service.
* Assists the Executive Housekeeper in achieving and exceeding goals and targets set for housekeeping including: stateroom accommodation ratings, attendant ratings, housekeeping operational reviews, GOLD Anchor quality reviews, USPH inspections and employee satisfaction.
* Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing the financial aspects and meeting revenue targets of all housekeeping revenue streams, while analyzing operational problems, establishing controls, and partnering with other management team members to develop and implement new promotions.
* Assists in the preparation and review of yearly budgets and financial operational business plan to enhance overall business needs of the division.
* Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by enforcing organizational standards, procedures and legal regulations, while effectively monitoring and making improvements to workplace safety throughout the ship.
Requirements:
*Minimum of five to seven years housekeeping managerial experience in high volume (300 or more rooms) in four or five star hotel or cruise line
*Ability to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule for this onboard position
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as internet access
*Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training
*Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly
*All international applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1/D1 visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable
