Cabin Steward (ess) - Chinese Speaking

If your wish is to combine work with traveling then welcome on board one of the ships managed by River Cruise Management.

The Cabin Steward (ess) is responsible for keeping the guests cabins and passageways clean and neat while keeping to the hygiene and sanitary rules and standard operating procedures. He/she provides personal assistance to the guests and takes care of personal requests. The Cabin Steward (ess) has a flexible position and fulfils other duties when necessary, such as garbage handling, loading supplies/provisions or helping out in the restaurant and bar. He/she reports directly to the Accommodations Manager.

Accountability:The Cabin Steward (ess) reports directly to the Accommodation Manager.

Flexibility:

• The Cabin Steward (ess) has a flexible position and fulfils other duties when necessary, such as garbage handling, loading supplies/provisions or helping out in the laundry restaurant and bar.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of each room occupied and non-occupied
• Preparing the room beddings, arranging it and fix it promptly
• Doing room service
• Communicating with customers about their demands and orders according to their rooms or things that they need
• Assisting with loading of luggage as directed
• Greeting the guests on arrival and departure

Requirements

• At least one or two years of hotel or prior ship experience in a comparable position
• Knowledge of betting preparation ensuring the guest comfort at all times
• Professional cleaning taking into consideration hygiene standards
• Fluent in Chinese and English language
• A flexible and motivated team player
• Friendly appearance
• Hard worker
