Objective: To ensure the ultimate Silversea cruise experience for guests within Food & Beverage

Job Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills and practice "leadership by example"
  • Ability to work with international crew.
  • Professional appearance and excellent social skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient, courteous and technically excellent food and beverage service across all areas of the vessel;
  • Positive food and beverage area ambiance;
  • Training, coaching, and retaining qualified staff;
  • Leading staff to superior levels of performance;
  • Safe professional and personal practices and effective business processes.

Education/Experience:

  • 5 years of experience of managing large outlets, or many small outlets with an international team, to a high fine dining level.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and outlook are necessary.
  • Experience with Fidelio, Micros and MXP are highly advantageous.

Language Requirement:

  • Fluent English, plus a minimum of one of the following: French, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese
