Objective: To ensure the ultimate Silversea cruise experience for guests within Food & Beverage
Job Skills:
- Strong leadership skills and practice "leadership by example"
- Ability to work with international crew.
- Professional appearance and excellent social skills.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient, courteous and technically excellent food and beverage service across all areas of the vessel;
- Positive food and beverage area ambiance;
- Training, coaching, and retaining qualified staff;
- Leading staff to superior levels of performance;
- Safe professional and personal practices and effective business processes.
Education/Experience:
- 5 years of experience of managing large outlets, or many small outlets with an international team, to a high fine dining level.
- Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and outlook are necessary.
- Experience with Fidelio, Micros and MXP are highly advantageous.
Language Requirement:
- Fluent English, plus a minimum of one of the following: French, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese
