Position description

Managing the entire housekeeping department. Control and enforcement of the quality standards, responsibly of the supply of material, equipment and personnel for all housekeeping operations according to the prescribed standard as well as control of the stores and inventories. Ensures that the cabins in both passenger and crew areas are kept clean and up to standard. Maintenance of furniture and equipment and in charge of the ship’s laundry and staff. Responsible of planning duty rotas for the Housekeeping department. Always available to deal with passenger queries, reclamations and problems, and motivating his/her co-workers to attain high quality standard of service. Responsibility for the adherence of all relevant hygiene, (HACCP), safety and environmental regulations

Position requirements

• Previous Hotel Business experience required in Housekeeping department.
• 2-3 years’ experience in equivalent position.4* International Hotels or on board a cruise ship.
• Computer Skills.
• Good Organisation skills, team management, Interpersonal skills, Problem solver, International exposure preferred Experience staff management.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Other languages German will be a plus

Position salary
