Job Description:

Guest Services Hosts/Hostesses –

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Guest Service Hosts/Hostesses to live a life less ordinary aboard one of our luxurious cruise ships. Interviews to be held in TORONTO on SEPTEMBER 19 and CHICAGO on SEPTEMBER 21..

THIS POSITION REQUIRES YOU TO LIVE & WORK ON A SHIP – 6 MONTHS ON / 2 MONTHS OFF

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional Guest Service at all times
• Provide Front Desk Services including but not limited to:  Facilitating Guest requests, follow through on Guest issues, maintain registers, answer main switchboard, and deliver Guest items to staterooms

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years front desk/guest services experience in a high volume hotel or resort (200+ rooms)
• Familiarity with front office computer software and proficiency in common software such as MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Ability to deal with Guest challenges and handle multiple situations simultaneously

At least 21 years of age and fluent in English; Multi-lingual preferred.

• Willing to commit to at least an 6-month contract, 7-day, 70-hour work weeks with limited time off
• Adaptable and flexible working in multiple locations
