As a Youth Staff, you will provide our little guests with an enjoyable cruise experience. You will be organizing and leading exciting activities for our young guests, ages 3 to 17 years old.

Career snapshot:

• Create, contribute to and participate in animation activities in all required languages onboard for our young guests
• Conduct all children"s activities, including outside games, mini-discos, parades, and mini shows
• Lead, supervise, and coach other Youth Staff members
• Assist with shows, acts, and sketches/playbacks when required, including attending rehearsals, and equipment and décor set-up
• Host and participate in children, adult, and family recreational programs and activities
• Socialize with guests and promote various entertainment activities
• Assist in disembarkation procedures

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completion of High School or Vocational Education equivalency
• Minimum of 2 years experience as part of a Youth Staff team in a leadership role or similar capacity within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Knowledgeable of the scenic arts, animation field, and entertainment techniques and resources, especially in the recreational area
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills
• Written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish
• Working knowledge of computers, internet, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Microsoft office
• All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable
• Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training

Preferences:

• Written and verbal proficiency French, Portuguese, German or Italian
