Position Summary:
The Primary purpose of the role is to profitably grow the CruisePlus product line. CruisePlus is a new tool designed to easily develop and offer packages, along with the cruise vacation. The successful candidate will need to manage and implement the commercial strategy to drive the growth and development of the CruisePlus business. This role will be responsible for creating, developing, and helping to market these new packages with the goal of increasing overall yield and broadening our sourcing.

- Maximize profitability by optimizing yield and volume through setting aggressive but achievable Sales targets and developing aggressive promotional and tactical pricing opportunities
- Plans, builds and delivers an increased product range and customer offering, to broaden consumer demand in order to drive optimal yield and volume
- Measures and controls sales objectives and metrics
- Rapidly respond to competitor activity and consumer needs
- Manages the development and delivery of product ranges in each market to ensure consistency of brand, service delivery and product quality
- Develop and execute a robust commercial and sales strategy around packaging in order to ensure the business meets its performance and profitability targets
- Collaborates with the marketing teams to develop marketing plans for the dynamic packaging products consistent with overall brand guidelines
- Works with Trade Support and Consumer Outreach to achieve the best understanding of the product for both our employees and our guests
- Works with several other departments to facilitate package components including air, hotel, transfers, and other components that may include third-party vendors
- Develops very strong working relationships and synergies between teams across all markets globally
- Responsible for several financial KPIs
- Effective management of all budgets, including: Overall Sales and Administration costs in line with agreed targets
- Accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Develop an annual detailed operating plan and budget
- Working across departments, including accounting, revenue planning, land operations, and air/sea to ensure components are accounted for correctly in reporting
- Ensure compliance with legal and fiscal regulations
- Robust negotiation processes in place for all significant expenditures
- Constant search for cost efficiencies to drive margin growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university
- At least five years of related experience in financial / business analysis or related field
- Experience from within the travel/tourism/leisure industry
- Experience working with tour operators
- Familiarization with revenue management concepts and tools
- Good understanding of dynamic packaging programs and the ability to bundle elements of the vacation together to sell vacations and drive strong margins
- Previous experience with Sales or Marketing
- Self-Starter Mentality and Entrepreneurial Spirit
- Good understanding of the web (both the dynamics of natural listings and consumer side)
- Leads cross functional teams and implement new programs
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets revenue performance data
- Ability to operate in cross functional environment
- Proven commercial track record of delivering profitable performance in a dynamic travel environment
- Strategic understanding of the travel industry and particularly current trends
- Passion and track record for planning and delivery of excellent customer experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently and use proper judgment
- Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentations skills
- Ability to work in global environment
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferences:
- Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters degree (MA)
- Previous experience with project management
- Experience with Global markets
- Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of reservations system and revenue management data preferred
